about me

Hello! I am Michael Tsuruda.

As a first-generation American passionate about finance, I aim to make a significant global impact by leveraging the practical financial skills I've gained through investing and extracurricular activities.

I began investing in foreign currencies, primarily the USD/JPY pair, as early as 8th grade. Today, my diversified portfolio includes Japanese equities and mutual funds, which have grown by over 160%, outperforming the market with a CAGR of 15% and a Sharpe ratio of 2.49.

As a finalist in the TAMID National Private Equity Competition, I gained valuable hands-on experience that has prepared me to delve deeper into the world of finance.
